We will hold our annual meeting on Feb 12, 2017 along with a pot luncheon. Among reviewing the annual reports PNC will have our pastoral candidate provide the worship for that day. Which after a meet and greet with her we hope to take a congregational vote to confirm her as our next pastor.
About our pastoral candidate………
Rev. Julie Raffety grew up in Wisconsin and attended University of Denver for her undergraduate education and Denver Seminary for her Masters in Divinity.  Julie's first call was as an Associate Pastor for Congregational Life at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rockford, IL.  Julie loves the essential tenant of Reformed theology that God chooses us and pursues us into relationship, sometimes over and over again, but with Christ's vulnerable, unconditional love, and grace, never gives up on us and thus, it is never too late for us to respond to the Holy Spirit.  Julie enjoys running, snowboarding, and knitting.  She has a twin sister (brother-in-law and niece too) in Lambertville, NJ who she is excited to be closer to geographically.  Julie is excited about serving together at First Presbyterian in Franklin and trusts that God has great plans in ministry for us together.

We look forward to seeing a large turn out from our congregation on this special day.
On behalf of the PNC committee we want to thank all for your prayers and support!!

We need Worship Leaders there is a sign up sheet in the West Chancel.

About Our Church

We are a family oriented, friendly church! All are welcome to share in worshiping the Lord as well as participate in our many church activities. This is a very musical church, with a rich heritage in service to God, our congregation, and all who take attend our church services, with both regular Sunday music, as well as our special music programs. Children often participate in church services, serving in our choirs, and/or Sunday School class presentations.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is observed the first Sunday of each month, but may be changed for special occasions, or if conflicts occur with the church calendar. All who believe in our savior, Jesus Christ, are welcome to celebrate the Lords' Supper with us, you do not have to be a church member, or even Presbyterian!

Special services are held Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Christmas Eve. We participate in an annual interfaith service on the Tuesday preceding Thanksgiving, rotating the house of worship between our Jewish brethren at Temple Shalom, and our Roman Catholic friends at the Immaculate Conception Church. The free will offering donations are offered to the community program "Meals on Wheels", which serves the shut-in community.

Our Deacons meet the first Monday of the month, our Committees meet the third Wednesday of the month, and our Session meets the fourth Wednesday of the month.
